A tiny side game
Today I want to tell you about a small hobby of mine, Pokemon GO.
Pokémon Go is a free-to-play, location-based augmented reality game developed by Niantic.
It was a big hit when it came out where I live in the summer 2017, and still there is massive activity around here.
If you don’t know about the game, then take a look at this trailer:
I had a break from about a year from playing Pokémon, and when I returned to the community, I thought I would find all the same small kids ads when it all started, but no. People playing this game where I live are adults. Why? Well its perfect distraction as the walk their boring walks for their beloved fitness.
On the other hand, kinds are not uncommon to see. I’ve several times seen fathers bring their children and an army of other kids to take down raid bosses. Amazing to see and practical when you’re taking down a high-level boss. The more the merrier.
Are these necessary to play? No. This may take away some of the joy of playing for some and inforce it for others. A total matter of preference.
Here are some videos that can provide you with some information about the different accessories
If you want to know where everyone are, where raid bosses appear etc. then find your local Pokémon go Facebook group or even discord server. Makes it so much easier when playing together with other and it’s also a nice way to get to know new people
