Yes, I do make mistakes, and a lot of them. Luckily, I have nice coworkers that rescues me every time. As like today, where I had a blond moment.
We have been doing some changes to the mail server lately that resulted in that we had to remove and add the mail profile on some machines. I've been doing that for a few days and gotten used to all the ways people are describing the error.
Today I was doing it again on one computer and the problem was the same, but the profile stuff looked a little bit different, I couldn't add her profile in the Mail configuration in the control panel. Moreover, when I tried to open the mail /outlook once again it said, add new profile.
I didn't want to ruin anything and were a little bit panicked. I sprung up from the chair and asked my dear coworker to please look at it and help me. He took one look at it, wrote gibberish in the field and hit enter. Suddenly it was back to normal, it found her profile without a problem, and it worked.
I was standing there, mouth open
Me: "are you kidding me? That easy?" *blushing*
He: " Hehe yeah it's exactly the same as the other ones. Well this is a story for your blog eh?"
I can't believe how stupid I can be sometimes, and every time I have a blond moment he is there to see it along with the others . I'm so glad they're not mocking me too much about it.
Just a normal day at work, beside the person stealing the CEO's parking space, the Christmas lunch (where all I could think about were the microphone they used, hoping it would work all the way though the lunch), my imaginative cake-eating contest and my coworker getting his art hung up on the wall.
Also the art piece I bought for my home page is done, well the piece itself has been done for a while, but I asked a local photo- shop to put the piece an a glass plate so I can hang it on my wall, and its finally done and I'm getting it today! I can't wait to see it!
