Today was a great success! The consultant and I managed to find a way to decrypt an Adobe key. We're going to reinstall a machine, but we want our key of course to the next installation. However, how to do it?
After some time with hard work, bloody tears and frustration and sleepless nights, we figured it out.
We found out that the key is encrypted after you use the Adobe installation for the first time; we also know where to find the encrypted key. After all our hard work we now know, what to write in PowerShell (no one of us have used it much before) to de-encrypt the key.
The best thing about this achievement is that we did it together; this is a living proof that cooperation is the best way to work, with a hint of competition. With the goal of solving a problem in focus, there is so much easier to fix things.
For the pros out there, this achievement may seem small and worthless, but for us that is still young and new to this field of work, we see our own potential!
Work hard and victory shall be yours, may the force be with you!
This is going to be a long post, but I will try to cover most sides about the blog making. I will show you how I've done it and how you can start your own blog.
Step one: Make a website /blog site
First of you need somewhere to write, You may choose to have one personal site at another website like www.blogger.com , Wordpress.com or another website, but you can choose to make your own website where you much more possibilities.
In this Guide I'm going to use a personal website as an exsample
As you can see, I made my own website and I used Weebly.com to do it. It's very easy to use and it's free. You only have to pay if you want some of the advanced functions.
You don't need to know how to write HTML code, the whole concept is based on click and drag.
1. Make a user
2. Follow Weebly's own tutorial Beginner's guide: First Steps
3. Start making your new website
Step two: research
It's what you are doing now, reading this and probably anything else you can find out about how to blog and how to make a website.
It's now your language class in school finally comes in handy, all that writing pays off.
Look at other blogs to get inspiration and see how they do it, and to find popular topics you can write about.
What to look for in other blogs:
- Theme (colors, placements, fonts, pictures)
- Writing styles
- How they connect to social media
While you do this, comment on the different blogs. Read it and give a real and meaningful comment. That way you make connections with people and later maybe you can guest blog or ask them to link back to your site. If you like, me write book reviews, see if you find some authors out there and ask if they want you to post a review on their book (this is a lot of work, reading it and making notes at the same time and make a good review).
Step three: What to write about
Try to keep it simple and not overflow your website with everything, just because you can.
Try to keep it clean and easy to navigate through.
Yes, widgets are cool, but you don't need most of them. Putt together about a month's worth of material before you tell anyone about your blog, feel free to go back and rewrite entries to make everything just the way you. Writing a popular blog doesn't happen overnight. It's hard work to make it close to the blog top.
Step four: The audience
Well this depends on step two, but you have to think about this too. When you write, write to the audience and make them feel included. If you wonder how a blog post should Look like, then you can click the link in the picture
Remember that people like schedules, try to have routine on when you're going to post something. You don't need to do it every day, just keep it coming. Also asking your readers to subscribe to a newsletter is a good idea. MailChimp is a site you can use to send out newsletters, they have the HTML code you need to get the subscriptions button. (You use it on your site with the </> embed code options on the tool bar in Weebly)
Step five: Income
Don't get your hopes up to high. You can earn a lot or you can earn next to nothing. When you own a website you can decide if you want to advertise or not and what you want to display. With Weebly you can even start your own store if you want.
Google AdSense is integrated and are easily started, just click and drag it where you want to advertise on your site, just remember to make a google AdSense account you can connect it to.
AdSense pays for how many viewers you have / how much traffic you have on you site and a little bit more for every time someone clicks on the advertisements. The thing is that you need massive traffic to make a living out of it.
There are different sites who offers partnerships and you can be a merchant or advertiser.
Twitter and Amazon is some of them. Keep in mind that Google don't like to share advertising space, if you advertise for someone else they may stop advertising on your site. If that happens just delete the other advertisement and wait a day or two.
Step six: Marketing
Are you going to market you blog to get more viewers? That will cost you. The most effective is to make an Twitter account and post your updates there (this is also included in Weebly) and other personal updates. It's smart to expand your connections within the topic you are writing about, get followers who is interested in what you write.
The follow trains is not a smart idea, they follow for a short while than unfollows so they can follow someone else that will follow then and so on. They get a big follow number, but with followers, that doesn't care what you post.
If you have facebook, use it to tell your friends about the blog, but don't drown them in updates. Make a business profile for your blog.
