Login, that's something we've heard of right? We login onto our computer, mail, bank account, Facebook and many different things. We should think that to login on a computer were basic right. Today I learn that: No, you should not expect anyone to know how to do that.
Yesterday I put up a new computer and all that other stuff in a new office, and today a new user were going to start working. Then it was some trouble so the boss to the new user called me:
Lady: Hey, The computer you sat up doesn't work
Me: Oh? What happens?
Lady: She can't logon
Me: Ah, totally my fault, it's probably ready to logon like a administrator right?
Me: Just switch user and login with her user
Lady: How do I do that?
Me: Click switch user, a blue button under the password field.
Lady: What's her username?
Me: *checking the system* it's *** her initials
Lady: And password?
Me: I did send you a mail with this info, its ******
Lady: mm right, nah it doesn't work. Can you get over here and fix it?
Me: On my way
*A few hundred meters later I walk up to the computer, the login user name was still administrator, I switched user, wrote her username and password, Enter and she was logged in*
Me: Now it's ok. See you later. * walks out the door, the room still in silence*
