Tablets, we're starting to get used to them now, they've been in the market for a few years now and many of us have owned one of knows someone that has.
How do we use this technology?
Take notes, use it like a laptop, play games on it, Media controller at home, connect it to your home server, mail and work stuff.
There are many different ways to use these machines. Today I'm going to short tell you one of the ways I use it.
When I come home after work I would like to chill and relax in the evening before I go to bed. I light some candles, make a cup of tea and then it all starts.
I start my Gaming computer on which I installed the program "iDisplay" which is also on my Samsung Note 10. I push one button and they are connected (ofc. I've already done the configuration it needs, If you want to do the same, just Google it or click here)
I then start up Gimp, that is a free drawing and editing tool, on my computer and drag it over to the iDisplay screen. This way I can watch Series on my screen on the computer, while I don’t have to sit in my chair to draw, but I can sit in the bed/sofa and scrabble on my tablet. It does create a small delay, but it's workable.
There are Gimp for tablets in the Play store, but I like it better on my computer, the tablet version is a bit more unstable. Also when I'm gaming I use it to keep track of the timers of the keeps in Guild Wars 2, since I don't have flash player on the tablet, it's practical to use it as an exstra screen when I play.
This is how I spend most night now in the autumn, when I don’t game or are out with friends of curse.
