![]() My latest adventure has been making pasta. Yes you read right, I’m making homemade pasta from the ground up. I’ve have for quite some time watched a lot of food programs. Strictly dumpling and frenchguycooking on YouTube and Chefs table on Netflix. I realized I’m bored of eating the same stuff over again, and since I’m struggling with getting ill from what I eat, not any direct allergies just not really feeling well after eaten stuff, so I decided to try to make it myself. I started this adventure with something I love, pasta. the only problem that occurred is that a pasta dough need to be knead a lot, and since I have weak write that wasn’t really fun. So my mother actually went ahead and bought me a paste machine as a present! Now I can amazing pasta in no time! I really enjoy it. Estimated time: about 40 min
This should give about 3 servings. 250g flour (all purpose or high gluten something) 120g water (you could use egg instead, keep the ratio the same) Pinch of salt
IF you have a pasta machine 2. Put the dough thru on the biggest setting and fold it between each round, don’t be afraid to use flour here, don’t want it to stick to the machine. 4. Put it thought the smooth part of the machine, one setting slimmer each time until reached desired thickness. Then put it through the cutting part of machine. Voila! Pasta ready for cooking!
