Sometimes we get unlucky or we get careless for a tiny second.
So sometimes we need to spend 15 min and a few cents to fix our 150$ headset.

Today I will show you how to open your headset so you can fiddle around with it

A while ago, I managed to wreck my sort of new Corsair Void headset. It’s been annoying me since the microphone has been swinging around just hanging in its tiny cord.
As Logitech G933 has been so shit with its poor firmware, I still can’t used it. Since it works and stops working after every other firmware update.
So then, I’m left with my VOID that’s physically broken. Well now I’ve lived it long enough and it just gotten worse. It’s time for me to fix it.
Therefore, in case you need to do the same I’ll show you how to repair your Corsair Void Microphone.

Let's get started!

  1. Carefully pull of the around ear pillow from the headset, just pull from one of the corners

  2. Now you’ll see the screws in their holes appear. Logic will tell you to screw them loose, so do it make sure you unscrew them all.
     3.   Now you can see my problem, the base of my microphone it thorn apart. We’ll fix this problem. In addition, since we have loosed all the screws we can now loosen the black plastic part from the yellow.

     4.   You can see more screws now around the microphone base. Loose whatever you need to fix your problem
   5.   As you can see, my problem was the round plastic base of the microphone. I choose to glue it back together with some two-component hobby epoxy I had laying. Blended the epoxy, put it in the rift/crack and pushed it together until it was dry.
Your problem is probably different so change up what you need to get it fixed, be creative. And duct tape will probably fix most problems

   6.    Now just put It back together again, tada! Make sure to test it to see if it works
